The Planex app is offered as a freemium service. This page explains our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information for anyone who uses Planex.

Information Collection and Use

Planex does not collect any personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, etc.).

The only data we handle are the goals, plans, and daily progress you create in-app. These items are uploaded to our servers solely so you can sync across devices and restore your data if you reinstall the app.

Log Data

If the app crashes or encounters an error, we receive limited “Log Data” from third-party analytics tools (device model, OS version, truncated IP, time of error). We use this information only to diagnose problems and improve stability.

Cookies

The Planex app does not use browser cookies. On planex.app, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and connect visits and interactions. Analytics cookies are enabled when the website loads. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics on planex.app to understand website visits and interactions, including page views, scrolls, outbound links, App Store button clicks, and clicks from articles to the homepage. Google receives cookie identifiers and information about pages visited, referring pages, and browser and device characteristics. Advertising storage and advertising consent settings remain disabled.

Our custom click events include the page path, button location, and destination, without query strings. These events measure website clicks, not app installations or activity inside the Planex app. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Service Providers

We may engage trusted third-party companies to host data, process crash reports, or analyze aggregate usage. They have access to your data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, encryption at rest, access controls) to protect the limited data we store. No method of transmission or storage is 100 % secure, but we strive to keep your information safe.

The app may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

Children’s Privacy

Planex is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here and become effective immediately upon posting. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the latest version went live.
